In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps; circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) indicated on 1938 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. Bowman (1934, 312) recorded single-ramparted ringfort (diam. c. 30yd; bank H c. 2ft) on J. Looney's land with fosse infilled. According to Walsh (1964, 60), 'small single-ramparted ringfort...levelled by bulldozer in 1958'. Souterrain (CO038-02502-) in NE quadrant (ibid.).
