In Clondulane graveyard (vol. 4, no. 14565), imediately S of the overgrown ruin of the former C of I parish church of Clondulane (vol. 4, no. 14712). The possible remains of an earlier church (c. 24m E-W; min. 5.2m N-S) comprise the E wall and the E end of the S wall incorporated into a square burial plot (5.2m N-S; 5.15m E-W); the S and E sides of the burial plot are thicker (T 1.2m and 0.93m, respectively) than the N and W sides. The possible remains of the footings of the W gable is covered by overgrowth. The S wall of the C of I church is likely to have been built on the foundations of the earlier church. According to Brady (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 127), this earlier church was 'in repair' in 1615.
