As the result of archaeological testing carried out in 2002 in advance of the construction of the N8 Rathcormac-Fermoy Bypass, a small subcircular pit (0.2m x 0.15m; D 0.1m), containing a hoard of 65 flint pebble cores, was excavated in 2003. It was found that most of the flint had been struck but there were no diagnostic artefacts. (O'Connell 2006h, 59; 2006i)
