Built into base of wall on S side of road; set on edge so that hollow faces out; partially obscured by dumped material at base. Rectangular stone (Wth 0.66m; visible H 0.47m) with circular hollow (diam. 0.33m; D 0.16m). Early ecclesiastical enclosure (13874) c. 480m to SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
