In pasture, on edge of sharp cliff-like drop down to Cregg Stream to S. Indicated as roughly semicircular enclosure (c. 70m E-W; projecting c. 40m to N) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; arc (W->E) formed by hachured bank on 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. Interior slopes down to S; enclosed by low rise (H 0.2m) W->E, with straight edge to S defined by sharp fall of ground down to stream. Field known locally as 'lios field'. Sharp drop planted with trees, forms part of Cregg Wood.
