Road bridge (Wth 7.1m; long axis N-S) over River Blackwater. Three large semicircular arches, well-dressed limestone voussoirs with chamfered edges. Pointed cutwaters encased in concrete; base of piers and parapet wall recently repaired. Bridge of mid-19th-century appearance. The ballad 'The Bridge of Glanwillan' refers to a 'long narrow bridge' here; according to local information, this earlier bridge was wooden, and a ferry operated prior to construction of present bridge, which Grove White dates to 'not much more than 100 years ago' (Grove White 1905-25, vol. 3, 292).
