In level low lying wet land. Circular area (24m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.35m); external fosse (D 0.65m). Fosse wet throughout and covered with reeds. Interior slightly raised; briars growing at centre appear to cover a high point. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
