Overgrown lime kiln in quarried hollow. Random-rubble walls retain earthen core. Front elevation (H c. 4.45m) faces S; stone-arched recess (H 2m; Wth 2.24m; D 2.8m), side walls plastered, sloping slabs at rear with stoking hole. Infilled circular stone-lined funnel. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
