In pasture, atop hill. Roughly circular area (c. 44m E-W) enclosed by heavily overgrown, earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 1.3m); external fosse (max. D 0.3m) to N and SSW. Rubble dumped on bank to S. Break (Wth 4.6m) in bank to NW. Fosse to SSW narrow where possible counterscarp bank (H 0.6m) exists. Dump for farmyard manure in W half of interior; E half partially waterlogged with rushes growing in it.
