In pasture, near top of hill. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 22m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Slightly to ESE, of position of site on 1842 OS 6-inch map, is kink in field fence, hachured (SE->SW) on 1936 OS 6-inch map. Site and field fence levelled with no visible surface trace surviving. Farm trackway now runs through site. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 580) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 41yd) on T. Colman's land, where 'a small portion of the rampart remains to form a boundary fence'. According to local information, field boundary levelled c. 1974. Field known as 'Pairc a leasa' (ibid.).
