In tillage, on E-facing slope. Depicted as semicircular arc formed by hachured bank NW->SE on 1842 OS 6-inch map, enclosing SW corner of field. Levelled; no visible surface trace; field locally known as 'fort field'. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 582) as levelled, single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 30yd) on E. O'Sullivan's land.
