What is recorded here

Random-rubble sandstone front wall retains earthen core, sides of kiln stone-faced. Front elevation (H 3.5m; Wth 9.20m) faces NE; lintelled corbelled recess (H 2.8m; Wth 2.55m; D c. 2.75m) blocked by horse cart, sloping slabs visible at rear. Earthen ramp (L 6m) extends to SW. Heat-shattered sandstone-lined funnel (diam. 1.9m), infilled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
