In pasture, on W-facing slope, just above Finnow stream. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; single arc of hachures depicting scarp NNW->SSE, respected by avenue to Rathnee House, on 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; realignment of avenue to house bisects site. Circular area (diam. c. 31m) defined by scarp (H 0.95m) to SE, with shallow external fosse; faint trace of shallow fosse W->NW, continues as differential crop growth NW->ENE. May be double-ramparted ringfort (diam. c. 33yd) recorded by Bowman (1934, 15) on H. Deady's land, with outer rampart levelled, inner rampart c. 8ft H and saucer-shaped interior.
