In pasture, on E-facing slope. Depicted as hachured slightly oval-shaped enclosure (diam. c. 40m E-W) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps; disturbed at S side on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps where limekiln marked on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. Possible souterrain (CO031-03202-) in SW quadrant. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 65) as single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 29yd; bank c. 4ft H) on Mrs. Fitzgerald's land, with 'one-third of circuit levelled'.
