What is recorded here

In tillage, on a slight SE-facing slope. An irregularly shaped spread (10m N-S; 5.5m E-W) consisting solely of burnt stone was discovered during ploughing in 2006 (McClatchie, 2006). A possible fulacht fia (CO030-252----) lies 7m to the NW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
