In Dernagree. Rectangular church (long axis NE-SW); walls rendered with raised quoins. Lit by pointed windows with cut-limestone surrounds. Ornate SW entrance gable: central breakfront of ashlar limestone, topped with bellcote; central ogee-headed door ope with large ogee-headed window overhead, pointed niches on either side of door and window. Inscribed stone on wall with date '1838'; described by Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 509) as recently rebuilt. Similar in design to Dromagh church (14740), stone sculptures attributed to Charles O'Connell (Mould 1991, 141).
