In pasture, 28m S of stream. Grass-covered spread of burnt material. Probably the fulacht fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 335) on Mrs Pigott's land from which the surface stones were removed, though Bowman located it in the adjacent townland of Minehill. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
