What is recorded here

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (42m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1m); shallow external fosse (max. D 0.5m). Break (Wth 2m) in bank to SW; cattle gap to WNW. Interior raised slightly on S side to compensate for hillslope. According to Bowman (1934, 287), field known as 'Pairc a Leasa - Fort Field'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
