In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Oval enclosure (c. 125m NW-SE; c. 95m SW-NE) defined E->SSE by low grass-covered bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.5m) and SSE->N by substantial overgrown earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 2.2m); shallow internal fosse (D 0.2m) E->N. Bank now levelled N->E, but this section shown as intact on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Interior slightly uneven but no definite features noted; burial ground (14092) and possible church (14476) in E half. Also known, according to Killanin and Duignan (1962, 311), as 'Keel Aodh'. According to local tradition, monks were buried here.
