In pasture, just below crest of N-facing slope. Circular area (internal diam. 26m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.44m; ext. H 1.87m); external fosse (D 0.86m) E->SE and SW->NNW. Break (Wth 9.8m) in bank to NE, with external scarp (H 0.6m) remaining. Interior raised; slopes gently down to N. No visible surface trace of limekiln marked on W bank on 1842 OS 6-inch map.
