What is recorded here

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (44m E-W; 43.5m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.4m) NNE->W; low grass-covered bank elsewhere (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.65m). Bank incorporated into field fence system NNE->W and straightened or modified in parts. Slight depression, not measurable, inside and at base of bank SE->SSW. Entrance (Wth 2m) to N; cattle gap (Wth 1m) to SSE. Interior grass-covered; slopes gently down to N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
