In undulating pasture, overlooking stream valley to N and c. 60m to NE of cliff-like fall of ground down to Owentaraglin River. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Upstanding circular enclosure visible in aerial photograph taken in July 1975 (GSIAP, W401). Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. One of two single-ramparted forts (CO029-060---) recorded by Bowman (1934, 275) on S. Walsh's land with diameters of c. 35yd and c. 31yd. Ringforts also recorded by Broker (1937, 51); this is probably one in 'Lios field' with underground passage (CO029-194---).
