In pasture, towards top of S-facing slope. Depicted as arc of hachures showing bank S->N on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; more concentrated spread of stones noted in area of site than in surrounding field. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark of bank and external fosse in aerial photograph (CASAP). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 262) as single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 25m) on H. O'Donoghue's land, with fosse infilled; not depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Possible souterrain (CO029-197---) in interior.
