On S side of laneway. Random-rubble walls encase earthen core. Front elevation (Wth 5.5m) faces E; recess and forecourt area partially infilled. Lintelled corbelled recess, sloping slabs at rear. Stone-lined funnel (diam. 1.95m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
