In level pasture. Subrectangular area (28.7m N-S; 23.6m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.8m). Bank grass-covered, with rounded corners; remains of stone-facing on external face along N and W sides. Slight slope down to base of bank on W side may indicate external fosse. Bank abuts field boundary on S side. Enclosure locally known as a "fort".
