Adjacent to SW side of ring barrow (CO027-159---) and multiple-cist cairn (CO027-069---). Excavated by O'Kelly (1952, 121-158) who described circular pit (diam. c. 3ft; D 1ft 6in) containing cremated burial with two Food Vessel Bowls (Brindley et al. 1987/8, 15, fig 2); both 'decorated with impressed ornament which includes comb and false relief ornament' (O Riordain and Waddell 1993, 95). Slab (4ft 6in x 5ft; Th 1ft 6in) found adjacent probably covered pit; this was disturbed when fosse extension dug to enclose urn burial (CO027-161---).
