In pasture, atop natural knoll. Roughly circular area (30m E-W; 28m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank NW->NE; scarp (H 0.7m to base of fosse) elsewhere with slight internal lip (H 0.1m); intervening fosse; outer stone bank (H 0.6m). Break in banks to E. Possible souterrain (CO027-156---) in W quadrant of interior. One of a group of five ringforts (CO027-088---; CO027-092---; CO027-093---; CO027-094---) at W side of townland. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
