In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Roughly circular area (36m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.6m; ext. H 1.3m). Break in bank to NNW with sides revetted by mortared stonework; cattle gap to S. Bank incorporated into field fence system SSW->NNW and stone-faced externally. Interior planted with trees; souterrain (CO027-08202-) in N quadrant.
