What is recorded here

In pasture, on gentle slope on N side of Funshion River. Two stones standing 0.5m apart with parallel E-W axes. North stone is erect (H 2.05m; 1.35m x 0.7m). South stone leans against other stone (H 2.4m if erect; 1.7m x 0.6m); tops of both stones likely to be level if latter was upright. (de Valera and Ó Nualláin 1982, 43) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
