In quarry. Remains of random-rubble front wall (S) retains earthen core, earthen fill slipped around front of kiln. Arched recess (H c. 1.3m; Wth 2.35m; D c. 2.5m), with overlapping stones to rear, filled with collapsed material from core. Rear overgrown, circular depression on top indicates position of funnel.
