In tillage, on SE-facing slope. Roughly circular area (38.3m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by inner earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 0.2m); intervening fosse (D 1.5m) W->S; outer earthen bank (H 0.3m) W->E and SSE. Causewayed entrance (Wth 2m) to W. Trees grow on bank and in fosse. Interior covered in nettles; slopes gently down to S. Well depicted inside ESE bank on 1842 OS 6-inch map; in ESE fosse on 1937 OS 6-inch map and named Tubber an eeling. According to OS Memoranda (20-12-1931), 'locals call fort 'Tober aneeling'. Circular enclosure (CO025-062---) in same field c. 50m to NW.
