In tillage. Depicted as hachured, slightly oval-shaped enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 45m), with external fosse N->SW, on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; field under crop of oats. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark of bank and external fosse in aerial photograph (CUCAP; BDS 15). Causewayed entrances across fosse, to SE and WSW, visible as cropmark in aerial photograph (CASAP); faint trace of smaller enclosure within interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
