In limestone quarry, c. 35m N of Ballygiblin House (14853) on NW side of demesne. Inaccessible due to overgrowth; according to owner, icehouse (c. 2m deep; c. 2m square) cut into rock face of quarry and enclosed by wall (H c. 2m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
