In pasture, on SSW-facing slope, below crest of hill. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 55m) on 1905 OS 6-inch map, with hachured NW->S joined by solid line; on 1937 OS 6-inch map survives NW->S and depicted similar to 1905 OS 6-inch map. No visible surface trace; according to local information, fort levelled c. 1957. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
