In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, to N of avenue to Lohort Castle (CO024-12601-). Circular area (47m N-S; 46m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m), with external fosse (D 0.4m) except to SE. Fosse deepest to NW; shallow and waterlogged to NE. Enclosure overgrown with deciduous trees.
