In pasture, on E-facing slope, below crest of hill. Depicted as hachured oval raised area (c. 20m by c. 28m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map; circle of trees marks site on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark of fosse in aerial photograph (CASAP). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
