In ringfort (CO023-032---). Bowman (1934, 416) noted 'in the northern and southern parts of the rampart, are two holes, 12ft wide at the top and 6ft deep. These were evidently souterrains'. Hollow cut into junction of interior with bank to N, may be one of these holes. Two other hollows excavated into external face of bank to S and NNE may be remains of lime kilns.
