In pasture, on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular raised area on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark of bank in aerial photograph (GSIAP, R721). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 46) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 40yd) on Mr Bresnahan's land. Ringfort (CO023-133---) in same field c. 30m to S.
