In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (35.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.2m) W->S; fosse (D 0.6m) NE->SE. Bank levelled S->W where demesne wall runs outside enclosure to SW. Interior planted with deciduous trees; raised on W side to compensate for hillslope.
