In ringfort (12379) named 'Lisnamarve' on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Bowman (1934, 189) noted here 'about 8 rough headstones, c. 1ft high mark grave-sites.' No burial markers now evident within ringfort. Possible church site (14472) on N side. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
