In pasture, on SE-facing slope, to W of St Peter's church. Heavily overgrown circular area (32m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m). External fosse survives as gentle slope down to base of bank; heavily overgrown NNW->NE. Interior raised on SE side to compensate for hillslope. Burial ground (CO023-07702-) and possible church (CO023-07703-) in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
