In corner of tillage field. Area of site heavily overgrown but burnt material was identified. Second fulacht fiadh (11255) immediately to S in adjacent field. One of two fulachta fiadh (see 10624) recorded by Bowman (1934, 416) on Jerh. Linehan's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
