In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Heavily overgrown, square area (c. 30m N-S; c. 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.2m); external fosse (D 1m) evident to N and E. Bank densely overgrown and inaccessible except for W half of N side and SE corner; break (Wth 2m) at E end of S side. Fosse dry: infilled to S; not visible on W side due to overgrowth. According to local information, spring well once located in fosse to N removed due to drainage works.
