In pasture, on E-facing slope. Arc (C c. 40m) formed by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.4m) survives in townland boundary NW->E. Locally known as site of fort. One of two (CO023-251---) levelled single-ramparted forts (diam. c. 30yd and c. 35yd) described by Bowman (1934, 186) on lands of D. Daly. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
