In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, immediately to SW of farm house and yard. According to local information, faint outline of fort visible in field. No visible surface trace of site noted, due to long grass. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 184) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 26.5m) in T Scully's land, approximately 0.6m higher than surrounding field level.
