In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 45m E-W; c. 30m N-S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, incorporated into field fence system on N side; as broken line enclosing circular area (diam. c. 38m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map, to S of E-W field boundary which kinks to respect site. Roughly circular area (34.7m E-W; 29.5m N-S) defined by low rise (int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.4m); faint trace of external fosse as slight depression WSW->NW. Surrounding field fences removed.
