In pasture, on ESE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by hachured fosse SSE->NNW, broken line elsewhere, on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Circular slightly raised area (28.6m N-S; 27.3m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) S->NNE with external fosse (D 0.8m); scarp (H 0.45m) elsewhere. Bank overgrown; interior grass covered. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
