In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular slightly raised area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m) SE->NE; external fosse (D 1.05m) to SW, shallow depression (D 0.2m) outside bank elsewhere. Entrance (Wth 2.5m) to NW. Bank heavily overgrown; material dumped on inner face of bank to NE where limekiln depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Possible souterrain (CO022-262---) in interior.
