In pasture, on S-facing slope of E-W ridge. Depicted as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 40m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map; named Children's Burial Gd. (CO022-09901-), with Church (site of) (CO022-09902-) indicated in interior. Circular area (47m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.2m) NNW->NE with shallow external fosse (D 0.2m); low rise (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.55m) elsewhere. Bank NNW->NE incorporated into field fence system. Break in bank to WSW. At SW side of interior is slight, stony, hollow which may be collapsed grave. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
