In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Penannular area (diam. 18.8m N-S) formed by low rise (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.4m) SSE->SW, with slight scarped edge SW->NE. Interior wet and supports some rush growth. According to local information, surface of site very stony when ploughed; known locally as site of fort.
